Because the man babbling incoherently about sharks and boat batteries is totally with it, right?
We are so effed.

There is no realistic path to "replacing" a major party incumbent that is actively seeking a second term and has already easily won their party's primary.

But why isn't there a major panic in the R party about Trump, with calls to replace him?
Maga is a lot for show. Privately they want trump to lose and know they will all be better off when he does.

There seems to be a large majority of GOP politicians and voters that stubbornly refuse to acknowledge how awful and weak Trump is as a POTUS candidate in a general election. Instead of seizing the opportunity for a likely victory over an unpopular 81 year old incumbent opponent, the GOP is choosing to nominate an extremely divisive and unfit candidate that will cause more swing voters to vote against their candidate than for him. The GOP will need a big time turnover in leadership and a more welcoming party platform in order to have any chance of winning in 2028 against what is very likely to be a much stronger Dem candidate.
The GOP is growing rapidly under Trump. Hispanics are supporting Trump and he has more African American support of any Republican in modern history. The GOP is now the party of the working class, pro citizen supremacy, anti open borders, anti war… it’s the growth positions. Trump transformed the party and switched places with the democrats in many areas.

Anonymous wrote:The idea of Biden acing a debate considering his mental condition is laughable. Now it might be clever at this point for Trump to treat Biden with kid gloves at the debate so the Dems don’t get rid of him right away.
