+1. Great program for big and not technological.
and thats the rub… in ct its thr opposite and very technical which is probably why va/md doesn’t get the love

this is the way….

No seriously its a dumb control system. The kids do love the networking and it does allow for kids to plan to olay w eachother.

Clubs hide under the guise of injury and it being lesser talent which is far from the truth

Not sure about MD, but VA tries to send even teams to the events. So selections from VA should be even across “VA1” through “VA3.”

This was not the case for md. I'm not sure what happened but watching a few minutes games where the teams were in the different brackets, Maryland teams by and large felt tiered.

MD is not like VA with regions. It is tiered. 2 teams. All ID camp selections were from 1st team for 2010G. Girls selected were most powerful and dominant, not always the best though.

MD ODP also over loads on 2013s (for $$ I'm sure) but I think if they made a more concerted effort to ID their "youngers", it would give them a PR advantage when for just to U12 year, east region makes an older and younger team. They left many late birth year 2012s of the table in favor of 13/14s.. But, revenue talks.

Yes selections from the 2010G ran across all three teams.

Fully agree. It was nuts. Don’t know who coaches picked versus from the east region tournament but looks to me like it was all size, ball hogs, and big kicks and had nothing to do with IQ, skill, or outcomes. I give up on figuring it out.
