We get it. Your daughter doesn't play for a top club, but is a good athlete, and you think she should get more PT. "Coach only plays her favorites". She has 12 favorites?? Plus the subs she does make? Come on.
The reality is that there are only two DC-area teams with true "depth": Good Counsel and Stone Ridge.
Bottom line, the Potomac and SJC coaches, around the game their whole lives, accomplished college athletes, and awesome people--who see these girls every day in pratice--have much better judgment on who can help on the field than a biased parent.

They have more depth than one would think. Coach just refuses to play anybody other than her favorites. I'm sure I saw you on the sidelines at games, but I disagree. The people who didn't play were terrible.

Current Potomac parent here. This post is from a mean-spirited disgruntled former player's parent, who thinks they are anonymous. We are very happy with our coach and her staff and are looking forward to having her coach our daughters again next year. Please let it go.

Sorry I’m not a former player’s parent. I’m the parent of a daughter who is looking at several schools, including Potomac, for high school. Glad to hear there are some who are happy with the coach.

Yes, they have. They were 4th in the isl. Most of Potomac’s teams finish at least that high. This was no big feat this year.

All this complaining about good coaching - who has a good coach?

My daughter's teams played Potomac this year. I heard one of their parents say that they only had one senior. They'll be pretty good next year.

The my dad was a great boy's coach so that makes me a girl's coach well ran dry at SJC this year, even thought it was their first ever conference championship game. Seems like that might be the case at Potomac too.

Potomac has close to 10 Capital blue players. They should be right up there with the top teams with the right coaching. Maybe they’ll get over the hump next year.

One can hope. They really deserve better coaching.

She’s been living off of her good lacrosse name for quite some time. Seems like her recruiting is better than her coaching.
