Black and Asian guys maintain their facial skin better and it makes for a nicer contrast with those sweater and wool textures

Europeans invented this look. Wool turtleneck screams Italian or southern European.

There is something about a man with a long white towel around his waist after a shower... and also a waiter's long apron (from the waist down) and a button down shirt. Yes, I'm weird.

I would normally say a dark suit but a military or police uniform seems to do it, too. I think that came from being a military brat in my formative years.

DP. Agree but I need a well-cut jacket on top of that. At least, until the jacket gets removed with flair and draped around my shoulders.

Recently saw someone I know and hadn't seen in a suit in a long, long time; he's had serious health issues so hasn't been dressing in anything beyond casual stuff. He had on a three-piece suit and a classic white shirt with French cuffs and the subtlest cufflinks. Seeing him in an outfit like that, which he used to wear frequently when out and about, and knowing that he's feeling good enough to dress that way again--I was wowed.

relaxed blue jeans with t-shirt and set of converse

relaxed: thin henley and flannel material pajama pants or grey sweatpants

dressed: suit and tie or crisp white shirt rolled with well-fitting pants (not skinny)
