Yeah, that's because size 8 for in American would probably be like a size 14 abroad in Europe or Asia. Size 8 is probably undoubtedly a large to extra large if you were to go shopping in say Asia. I wouldn't trust US sizing at all.

Sure. And 1/1000 women over the age of 35 fall into that category. The rest are fat and have poor cardiovascular health.

Anonymous wrote:BMI is a very poor measurement of health and weight. It can give you a rough outline for some people, but isn't accurate for a lot of people - especially fit and active people.
Technically I'm slightly overweight (BMI is like 25.4) but I'm very active and lift weights. I have large dense breasts, and have some lose skin from losing a chunk of weight. My doctor isn't remotely concerned about my weight - my orthopedist even called me "thin!"

This me… bmi 26

Many of the women pose with their legs crossed or in other slimming poses, which defeats the point.
My trainer is BMI 26 and she is gorgeous (I saw her wedding pictures - flawless). She’s just incredibly strong and has natural curves. Of course not all BMI 26 are like that but many of us pear-shaped ladies have very strong legs and arms but slim middles.
That's b/c BMI is garbage if you actually have muscle on your body.
And 99% of people don’t actually have the muscle to fat ratio required for a BMI calculation to be considered garbage. Yet all 1% are on this board somehow. Amazing that intersection of reality.
Yes this board is always the outlier.
Or just plain liar
