Yes

So much easier to just pee than get out of the pool and go into the nasty public bathroom, or have to dry off to go in someone's house. Obviously I dont do this as an adult, but I always assume there is urine in the pool. Also think about the water flowing in and out of everyone's nether regions and then flowing right by your face...
You are disgusting. Forget other people. The fact that you’re ok with swimming in your pee water says a lot about hygiene. Gosh why are people so gross and LAZY?!

Anonymous wrote:Super disgusting that so many people are saying that everyone pees in the pool. Especially adults. Don’t disguise your failures as commonalities.

Ok can someone tell me if this is true or this person is being sarcastic? My kids have never ever peed in the pool and always get out and run to the restroom. This is gross and clearly parents are failing to teach their kids basic hygiene and proper manners. If this is true, I am never letting my kids go in a public pool. Thankfully we do have out our own pool so they can just stick to that.

When it was time to leave, I said to my son, say thanks to Mrs. ____ for inviting us to come play at the pool, and my son replied "Thanks for having us! I peed in the pool." My friend either didn't hear or pretended not to hear, but I wanted to die. This is so embarrassing right? Am I overthinking this?

That’s not the issue.
Third graders may pee in the pool—but they know they shouldn’t and they certainly don’t brag about it in a cheeky way to grownups.
Let’s be honest grown-ups pee in the pool all the time! Have you ever been to a resort with those Swim up bars? You see grown men who don’t leave the pool all day. They’re certainly not dehydrated…
