The other day we were looking for a table in a crowded place and he asked if a spot was taken and the (married moms) ladies sitting there looked up at him like puppies before immediately making space. I was at an angle so the couldn’t see I was with him then I turned around, they rapidly adjusted then checked me out from head to toe. Women’s eyes bulge when the see him. He is oblivious.

Older now and on our way to divorce.
Anonymous wrote:My DH is hott. He doesn’t get any passes from me. But I do take joy in knowing I will be with the most attractive man at 99% of the events or gatherings we attend. It also hilarious to watch woman try and flirt with him when he arrives before I do or I step away for a few minutes.

My less good looking friends struggle more and their spouses are honestly kind of jerks to them. Obvious to be that good looking women get special treatment. And yeah I assume they hat includes forgiving their slights more readily

+1, the insecurity. She doesn't want him to leave her for someone younger/hotter so she will become a shell of herself to please him.
Anonymous wrote:My DH is very good looking and no, I don’t give him a pass because of it. We’ve been together for 25 years and I treat him as a whole person.
I know a dad who is as OP describes. I have no idea how his wife treats him, but he is so annoying in casual conversation it has killed any “hot” that might be there. I actively avoid him.

After a string of incredibly hot girlfriends, I tried to make a recent relationship work because we shared several hobbies and a life outlook. The first time she got upset about something little I thought to myself, “I often up with this, but she’s not hot enough to tolerate it,” and broke up shortly after.
You have issues.
Like what? He doesn't want to put up with some girls BS unless she is hot. That seems reasonable.
I reached the same conclusion many years ago. If I’m going to get treated poorly, why not at least get the benefit of a hottie while it lasts?
So you acknowledge you aren't looking for marriage material with these women. You just want to f*** and dump but at least they're attractive?

I would want to have sex way more and when we have sex our relationship is much better. We are kinder to each other and find more ways to connect during the day. I'll settle for him losing weight.
Have you told him that you might put out more if he slimmed down?
