Internet rumor has it that when it comes to waitlists, that's when it helps the most to have gone to a private. The counselors have relationships with the AOs that public school counselors don't.
Also are they the same ones posting on CC?
I can say our private CCs are working phones/WLs etc and started in April….
how is that working out? are kids getting off WLs?
These are your 'paid' private CCs or your private school's CC?
Our private HS does not call or work the phones, but my kid has gotten off 3 WLs in the past week (2T10s and a T20). For 1 he wrote a COL.
The other two just checked a box to stay on the list- nothing extra.
I wouldn't be so sure these ppl you are paying thousands of $$s are doing anything more than what would have happened anyway.

Please share them.

When my kid got off some waitlists, I shared when asked because I think of these boards as a give and take. There have been plenty of times people have been helpful providing information when asked even though it doesn't help the OP to give any details, it helps others. Oh well...
So petty and myopic. You say OP owes you nothing, then bone on again about how she didn't offer up the stats you wanted. As I said upthread, stats won't help you. All these kids have the stats.
Quit hounding someone when they posted to celebrate. Start your own thread asking for (useless) stats from those admitted from WLs.
Disagree. If stats are low (relatively) or there is a hook, it puts a very different spin on the acceptance and lets others know that getting off the waitlist there is highly unlikely for anyone else. I also disagree that all kids getting into these schools are very high stats. Sure, most are…definitely not all.
