I know the local level 2 and 3 decisions were made independent of knowledge of the appeal, because the school only put DC in level 2 services, but a couple weeks later we heard from the appeals committee that DC had gotten into full time level 4.
The school had completely bombed my DC in the GBRS, so it did not surprise me that they only put DC in level 2. Thank goodness for the appeals committee because DC is thriving in level 4.
