My fed client who treated me viciously when I left gave me a bouquet of flowers and a card on my last day. I stepped out of my car when I arrived home and placed them promptly in the dumpster without reading or enjoying. Even if she didn’t see this motion, in my heart I wasn’t going to let her get the last word.
