From my standpoint, even if the worst happens, Kamala is going to have a decent set of competent people around her running the agencies and in the cabinet. I also think she is way smarter than anyone is giving her credit for. She was AG of California. She was a Senator. Personally, I think much of the criticism stems from misogyny.
On the other hand, I am scared of who Trump will have around him. Steven Miller, Steve Bannon, Seb Gorka, Roger Stone, as well as Trump sycophants whose only qualification is that they believe the 2020 election was stolen.
Have none of you been listening when one by one the people like Miley, McMaster, Mark Esper, John Bolton? There are others but those are off the top of my head.
Someone please explain it to me because I don’t get it.

Voting Trump and straight GOP ticket to stop this from happening!
Well said!
Me too! Must stop the threat to democracy that is Joe Biden!!
A vote for Trump or Biden is a vote to continue the deterioration of our country. What is wrong with you people? You can't see the forest for the trees.

On the other hand, you get Trump (if he wins). Harris looks pretty good in comparison.
She’d swing open the borders even wider, if that’s possible. Lol.

REPORTER: "Madam Vice President, Hamas says it accepted a ceasefire deal. Your reaction?"
HARRIS: "Shrimp and grits!"

Every second of every life is consequential? Why dramatize whatever election we happen to be facing as THE ONE? Is it because for first time we have two equally bad choices?
The choices aren't "equally" bad but it is the first time in our history we don't have at least one major party candidate that most can agree is fit to lead the country for the duration of the term they are seeking. For this reason, this election does present us with the two weakest major party candidates in American history. Acknowledging this fact and demanding better from our two failing major political parties is the first crucial step in recovery by 2028.

Not understanding what the other option is
Anonymous wrote:Cause we have 2 idiots on a scale never seen that are totally comparable. Don't give me the Trump is worst than Biden speech.
Trump's personality and ideology - he is a nightmare but the GOP (right wing) has already established itself, with or without Trump. Biden is a joke. He is too old. Period. To be in a position as powerful as POTUS. It's not just about age, it's about Biden. He is not in his right mind nor physically capable of the responsibilities. So the idea of Biden being "best case scenario" is totally illogical.
We have 2 fools, neither of which have the capacity for this position. The thing about the other candidates is that while you may like/not like them politically, you can't suggest they were physically and mentally unable to perform the job. In the past, it has always been about choice. This time around, there is no choice!!! They are both totally unfit.

What did Michael Flynn did when he was at power that terrifies you?

Really? How? Specify what the GOP is saying that would "end the republic as we know it."

I agree completely. I get not loving her, but I don’t understand the hatred. She strikes me as a normal bland politician - maybe not my first choice but certainly not concerning or risky in any real way.
