Um, that's the entire arrangement, obviously. The day these women get a job (in what, retail? food service?) and come home in the evening, same as the guy, and both look at each other like "what's for dinner", is the day these arrangements end.

Saying "I'm Ok if she works" and fully expecting her job to have no impact on his life is like me dropping a ball off a building and expecting gravity not to exist. This is a one-way arrangement for the man, full stop. The day it's anything different is the day she's out on her ass. Ultimately this is more manosphere crap/tradwife nonsense that attempts to dress up exploitation of women as enticing; no woman with other options or intact self-esteem agrees to this (cue the "my girlfriend loves it!" guys. Your girlfriend has nowhere else to go and/or is damaged. The end). OP you have no requirement to be a decent human being, but no one's patting you on the back for taking advantage of vulnerable people. It's bottom-feeder behavior.

Agreed. I don't think she believes she's wasting her time. She grew up dirt poor, and for the first time she has some sort of stability. She doesn't worry about bills, she doesn't cook or clean. One big complaint was she thought she would get a break because of his age. She says she can't keep him off of her.

I guess sugar baby. But when I think of sugar baby I think of rich men and he's not rich. He does well for himself, but He's not a millionaire.

Back when I was single many years ago, I had my own apartment and lived alone for 8 years.

One girl I dated was absolutely beautiful and a lot of fun. But not marriage material. At that time she quit work for two years to do grad school, moved home and had no job.

In retrospect she should have been my stay at home girlfriend. I owned a coop with all utilities included so her moving in would cost me zero extra.

I have a beautiful girl to sleep with every night, someone around in case a delivery, someone to eat dinner with and unlimited sex. She would be out of her crappy childhood bedroom and living in a place she could not afford for free.

It all makes perfect sense.

A working girlfriend is just annoying none of money she earns is mine. She is not around when I want to hang out.

Was I stupid not to make her a live in girlfriend?

I dated girls in investment banking and law and found it very annoying. They were always changing meeting times, stressed from work, not in any mood to relax but none of their money was mine. I was just a BF.

And a stay at home GF tons of benefits too for them.

Am I crazy? But it is all the rage now.

in the old days mistresses would be given expensive jewelry/gifts and a flat or place to live, maybe property of some kind for at least the duration of the relationship and they certainly didnt provide childcare! They would entertain others sometimes and would have an allowance otherwise. Mistress just means a prostitute who is for one man only. Wife means a prostitute for one customer only also but it has some job security and benefits, more like union work.
