My kids are athletes, play a combined six sports and they do not reach for the Oreos/chips after a game. Do we have them at parties and appropriate times, of course! But after a game when your body is in recovery, they know better.

Although I wish we would get away from snacks. They don’t need them and it’s another thing to organize and all the pre-packaged snacks create so much trash.
Cucumbers?
I would love to see this in the wild.
Not as bad as the lady who always brought seaweed snacks to ours.
My kid would destroy the seaweed snacks but I suspect he’s in the minority there.
They are extremely salty/high sodium so a very odd and stinky choice after kids have been running around on a soccer field for an hour.

Assorted chips
Small containers of pringles
Individual Oreo packs
Popcorn
Individual packaged Rice Krispie treats
All the above are huge hits after our soccer games. Some parents do Gatorade too
This clearly differs community by community because of someone brought this to our team, they’d be ostracized
Your community would…ostracize…someone for bringing the wrong snack?

Cucumbers and my kid would be devastated.
