Many folks are priced out of McLean — and even some parts of Vienna closer to Tysons — at this point.

US News just ranked it somewhere in the top ten two weeks ago. Could be the fourth best. 30 years ago it was one of the worst FCPS schools and under-enrolled, and now it’s one of the best of the best. I live in McLean, close to Franklin Sherman. I go to this part of Falls Church a lot for Asian groceries, Traders Joe’s and other stuff. I think the hate is unnecessary, it’s a nice area with solid schools and chill people ( we know quite a few families there). Location is great and house looks like a good value for the money.

As far as the aesthetics and style of house goes, sure they are personal preferences. Overall, whoever got it made a good choice, great location inside the beltway and great access to D.C, Tysons, Arlington, Alexandria.

Great schools gave them a 6/10

Why? Similar houses in Mclean are already $3M+

Because comps in Pimmit hills are 2M. Doesn’t matter what’s happening in McLean.

I just hate all of the mixed height ceilings. Just looks weird to me.
