I don’t think this is true for all ages. The last tryout for 2015, 2014, and 2013. I have a current player on a middle team and have not heard anything yet.

Not older than 2012 but our player is currently on an Arlington travel team and we, as is most of her team, are *still* waiting, along with all the cattle call tryout kids.

We also haven’t heard anything, which I’m viewing as bad news now. Though they sent an email committing to notice good or bad by tomorrow.

It was a lot of kids. Couldn't tell if they were separated by skill level.
Seemed okay. Coaches appeared engaged.

But there were so many kids that I'm not sure how they'll be able to choose.

Well one tryout is done—anyone non/pre-academy gotten anything yet?

I think they wait until the teams are finalized to say anything— so next week would be the very earliest.

In our experience Arlington gives out offers to highest teams and returning players first. There are bubble players who may move up/down based on acceptances. The lower teams receive offers after higher teams filled with exception of returning players. Eg. Larla has been on blue and they do not intend to move her up or down.


Yes. Especially if they are on a lower team like Blue or Black.
