Walk on positions at ucla and Florida state are hardly impressive.

I’m not impressed with VDA placing players at the University of the District of Columbia. I didn’t even know they had a soccer team.

CW is the older statesman. He's got to be on his way out (MYS pulled his TD role, asst coaching the two youngest FVU ECNL teams and coaching the 2013s at Mclean. This is now pretty far away from the college game, he'll be coaching little girls. His current team is doing badly and getting trashed in another thread.) The reputation is their but seen as long in the tooth and best days are behind him. Like Biden and Agent Orange himself too

I have heard anecdotes were CW was slow to respond to calls and email etc from schools.
Truth is that it is not like the coach just picks up the phone and says recruit this player. The player and her parents have to do their work. The coach is like a guidance counselor letter of recommendation it is additive but not determinative.
