OP here. The latest guy I’ve been seeing He has a bad relationship with his mom, a lot of resentment there. he also hates his ex-wife and complains about female co-workers. He has a good relationship with his daughters according to him.

To me on an individual level he treats me well. Listens when I speak and is generally very respectful.

I just have a bad feelings about his general disposition towards women.

That's a lot. I can see horrible mom and/or horrible ex-wife and/or 1 or 2 bad female co-workers, but ALL of those? And I wonder what his daughters would say about their relationship with him.

Look for men that have good relationships with their mothers/sisters. It's cliché but really true.

How are there so many young widows on this board. I literarlly know ONE widow younger than me (I'm in my 50s) who lost her husband maybe 14 years ago ... when we were in our 30s.

Men aged 45 and younger (which is the age range I'm guessing OP is looking for) should not show many signs of overt misogyny if they're college educated and work in a professional environment where one's random comments matter to the people around them, especially their female colleagues. That would be different for those over about age 55, who came up in a time when there were fewer women in the workplace and less awareness about sexism. I give those older guys a little more slack, but I do gently correct them.

Someone aged 44 today would have been born in 1980, and a college senior around the year 2000. Anita Hill testified on Capitol Hill in 1991, when they were in middle school. They should know better.
