Me too. She is a very good actress though because I have a visceral reaction of complete disdain and anger whenever she appears on screen. She is one of the most unlikable and annoying characters I have ever seen.
+1
She is so annoying. I think Riley does a good job portraying her as someone who thinks she’s cool but really is just annoying. And immature.

I thought maybe she was being misrepresented in the series but just read she was deeply involved in the project, for two years, before she died. Her whole 'thing' was anti-heroines but still, ugh.
Rebecca sees Warren as a kid who has had a tough life. She can’t imagine someone so kind to her would do something so awful.
It’s strange they got life in prison with no parole but now Warren is out while Kelly is still in jail.

NP here. I really like Lily Gladstone as an actress but I don’t think this character is good for her (her acting can’t save the character, it’s not Lily’s fault). I read her character is the only fictional person in the series, all the other characters (the shoreline 6, the families, the writer) are all based on actual people. But Lily’s police character was created for the miniseries to highlight the struggles of indigenous Canadians. IMO it’s not necessary because we already have the real racial conflict of immigrant East Indians with Caucasian Canadians which I absolutely believe contributed to Reena’s bullying and the way her father was treated by the police. But the side plots of Lily’s character (being a lover of the writer, being a friend to the deceased brother, being an adopted daughter of the chief of police, having previously lived in the teen girl home, etc) are all fake. There is enough already going on with Reena and her story, this manufacturer sec scene in a bar bathroom, Lily’s character playing a pivotal role in the brother’s death, etc are all superfluous.
