My husband does all of this and the DMV. I am codependent and incapable.

Hey OP, I thought your writing was a little hard to understand, but I get your point, and I agree with you that her behavior was a little odd. It seems odd but not malicious. Maybe she was trying to assert her independence or make some sort of statement?
