I didn't want a big fancy wedding, and I was pregnant and preferred to be married before he was born.
LOL why?
Bible thumping stupidity
Why are you so concerned with someone being religious?
I am not religious and am married, not for preganancy reason, but chose to marry.
For me it would be the security of having some legal protections and easier than setting up a bunch of contracts. Being a new parent can cause intense reactions on some people, and giving birth is medically risky, so I'd see marriage as a safeguard. Not necessarily religion.

Dresses don’t have to be made. People pick dresses all the time off the rack when dress counter, 26 shopping. From there it was tailored a bit.

That is absolutely not too soon.

That’s a forced marriage. This is not the type of marriage op is asking about.
Nobody forced us to get married.
One or both of you felt an obligation to do so, not for love. -dp
Abortion is legal in this country, or was until recently. So is unmarried parenthood. OP clearly wanted to marry the man.

It will be a lot of stress planning a wedding in a short timeline and you will be charged more.
