Why have kids if you are just going to work all the time and have other people raise them. Just because that's what most people are doing in this area, doesn't mean you're doing it right.
Oh please. I am absolutely raising my kids. A parent drops them off and picks them up every single day. There are tons of people who are great parents who work in person. Get real.
Yea maybe on weekends LOL
Are you spending more time with your elementary school kids than someone who drops them in the am and meets them in the pm? The only difference is the work in office mom is making money for her family while you go to yoga and organize your closets.

Pls do NOT use “ack”. It is very annoying.

I think she's trying to sympathize, but you're very sensitive and insecure about your work and you can't process her comments the right way.
I don’t know, she doesn’t seem sympathetic. Maybe socially awkward best case scenario. I am the one at the bus stop with the super flexible WAH job and I would never make comments like this to a work in office mom.
One of my neighbors has to commute to DC a couple times per week. On those days I’m happy to have her drop off her kid at my house 15 min early and walk him to the bus stop so she can get a head start (our kids are friends). I will sometimes tell her I like her outfit when she’s dressed up for a meeting. I think that is how you support another mom.
Not with stupid comments about how much their commute sucks. Like I’m sure the commute does suck for most people. Why comment on it?
