There should be a police officer assigned to QO. Perhaps calling the non emergency number and have them radio the officer assigned to swing through

There were two kids lying on the ground in the stacks, and the rest were loud, like it was lunchtime cafeteria time. There was absolutely no studying going on, so I don't agree with your assessment of them being well-behaved or there for any other purpose than it serving as a lounge. I suppose toking on a THC vape is not problematic either?

I love the kids at QOHS—all my experiences with them are positive.

As with any other place, if you had any issues, you should have complained to the employees.


Yes, as if all 2000+ of them are bliss. LOL

1. They absolutely were vaping, the "security guard" acknowledged she smelled it but couldn't do anything.

2. They were 98% Black and Hispanic, which I honestly didn't know what to make of, and which made me think this wasn't some sort of abbreviated senior year privilege as someone here pointed out.



What did you expect the security guard to do so they smell like pot?

Do you hear yourself? I was trying to get some work done there, and couldn't. A roving band of kids came in, you can see them walking over from the HS (and from the sidewalk leading up to the McDonald's strip mall), and acted like they were in a cafeteria, talking loudly, joking around and were there not for anything remotely library-related. I went to the librarian and she said she couldn't do anything to stop it and knows they are skipping class.

Their behavior would make them better suited for being AT HOME.
