I loved the Sopranos. The food. The food was a main character. If you are Italian you understand. And, the '7 fishes' Xmas Eve dinner episode in 'Bear'. Classic.

WHAT?
There are different levels of viewers.... this is what they used to call a "hits & tits" viewer.
It takes a multiple viewings to gain a fuller appreciation and nuance.
It definitely does not require repeat viewings to get the nuance. It's a good show but it's not that deep.
A second viewing definitely is worthwhile.

They never mention BPD in the show. I recognized the behaviors because Tony’s mother did stuff my mother did. I read an interview with the actress, and she confirmed she was aiming for conveying a borderline.
I felt seen.
Two thumbs up for this show. I might need to watch it again.

Aren’t mafia families for the most part a thing of the past? Even on Sopranos they don’t want their kids going into the mob and future generations will be college educated like Meadow or head to military school like AJ.
