Anonymous wrote:DH always wears fisherman sandals. DS is 17-18 yrs old, super super thin and I feel like fisherman sandals are too heavy. Keens are possibly too clunky. Flipflops are not sufficient for driving or going for a walk. What are guys wearing?
Anonymous wrote:My husband only wears flip flops (hari mari) or espadrilles in the summer (Manebi). Never a "sandal."
Anonymous wrote:Ha!! My husband would t be caught dead in sandals. Neither would my 18-year old.
My 16-year old wears Yeezy slides

I don't understand this thing about men not being allowed to wear sandals? Why?
Because a lot of people have weird and regressive rules about clothing and gender
I think this is my DH b/c he won't wear sandals. Even when i'ts baking outside. We've been togerther 25 years and I still ahve not figured this out.
and now our DS won't wear them either.
??? oh well.
I’m the PP you’re responding to. I have no issue with people wearing what they’re comfortable in. My husband wears sandals occasionally but is just physically more comfortable in sneakers; one of my sons is also like this, while the other wears Birks a lot. That’s fine! I just can’t handle people imposing these meaningless “rules” on other people.
