I can see the argument for juvenile (if by juvenile you mean under 50 I guess…?) although most kids I see these days are wearing those huge noise canceling headphones. AirPods are just basic and not gendered to me. They make my ears hurt so I don’t use them but no, OP, they don’t give me the ick on other people.
Juvenile in this context would be under college aged; so 22, not 50.

Come on, can’t you just be normal and say everyone can wear air pods instead of making this a weird convoluted way to brag about your husband?

Exactly my thought!
I wear AirPods when I walk so that I don't disturb others. I listen to audiobooks and am learning a language. If anyone wants to judge me, that's on them.
I think this response teases out the male personality type that does this, which makes it ick. Having AirPods in your ear all day so you can pretend to "read" countless books is ick. A male putting a piece of electronics in his ears to avoid the world around him is ick. It's just not masculine behavior.
How does OP or you for that matter, know if he has the airpods in all day? She's describing random men she sees outside. She has no idea what they're listening to or how long they're listening to it.
Imagine if a guy posted "Grown women walking around without makeup/without their nails done/not smiling/etc. turns me off." He'd be crucified and rightfully so. Women don't exist to provide visual entertainment for men. Likewise, men don't exist to live out some romance novel fantasy of what men should look like.
This is one of the most ridiculous things I have read on this board. I hope OP is no older than 15, that would excise the post somewhat.
You don't see grown men walking around all day with AirPods in? Street, metro, office, gym, coffee shop, grocery shopping, and even in their dating profile photos. I know they're wildly popular but it's a little ick for a grown man to wear them all day. Sorry.

Yes, there's something to be said about the mere optics too. With women, longer hair covers them up. Everyone sees men wearing them. And women are delicate and flightly, not expected to be fully aware of their surroundings. It's just so un-masculine and timid for a man to walk around all day oblivious of his surroundings. And even worse, seeking to avoid and hide from his environment. You need audio books to walk down the street or grocery shop? I'm sorry but it's ick.
How are you this stupid

With additional time for excessive use of comfy, yummy, or most words that sound like you're speaking to a toddler. ALso, a death sentence for "preggers".
