I definitely judge. And I wouldn't take an upgrade if it meant leaving my husband in coach (and vice versa). Why? Because I'm not that desperate to have more comfort without my family! I prefer their company.
None of my friends would do any of these things either.

Our kids are well-behaved and have been flying since they were babies. They are polite seat mates, don't fight with each other, and know to get loud and get attention if anyone is creepy. Never been an issue. When we can DH and I sit in first class in the row right in front of them and we can pass things back and forth even while seat belted in.
Cheapskates! If you can’t afford four seats then you can’t afford first class.
Lol, I assure you we're not cheap. Our kids love flying "alone" but without actually being alone, they don't need the extra space first class provides, it's not like they'll avail themselves of the free alcoholic beverages, so there's no need to give them first class.
Nice so you relax while someone else has to babysit your kids for free.
They don't need to be babysat on an airplane. They have a backpack full of stuff to entertain themselves and snacks and water. There are some adults who need more help than they do.
Yes they do. Sad they have checked out selfish parents.
Weird how you're so convinced you know my kids better than I do. I won't keep arguing about something so ridiculous with you. You're more immature than a child throwing a temper tantrum.

Yuck, forces the older one to be the parent.Anonymous wrote:I took a flight to Orlando today and there was a dad who sat in first class while his two daughters, around ages 11-13 and 7-9 sat midway back in coach. I can’t help but judge this dad harshly, and thought that you might want to join in.
