I've always liked the Docs posted upthread but have been hesitant to get them because I'm petite and have very small feet (5). Should I try them??

oh my word. I am picturing you as a certain type of lady in her 50s who is rather "sturdy", probably like a size 16 and wears knee length khaki shorts and a t-shirt every day.

+1

And the tshirt might be tie-dye on days she wants to seem "fun."

LOL! This isn't me...I hate khaki shorts with a passion, and own no tie-dye. But I am in my 50s so you got me there.

I wish Doc Martens would bring back their sandals from the mid 90s. I had an amazing pair that I wore for many years until the straps gave out. Antique brown leather and they went with everything. They were so comfortable and cute. Much less clunky and industrial than their current offerings.

Only cute shoes posted yet.

It’s hard (impossible?) to find cute sandals with ankle straps, as the majority of posts confirm.

These are sooo over. This is a Sam Edelman dupe of whichever designer shoe it was like 5 seasons ago. People are wearing those awful Tory Burch slides that look like this as well.

Hermes. Classic.

Better than everything else posted.

People, if you need to wear sandals like these for comfort, then just stick with sneakers.

I want to hear Beklina reviews, too. Even ugly, expensive “comfort” shoes still manage to rub and hurt my feet. Those strappy cole haans would have my feet bleeding within a block. Birkenstocks are not even comfortable which is a big disappointment. I can wear Vionic Tide flip flops and Brooks or Hokas without pain.

I love your attitude, OP. I’ll be in Birkenstocks all summer. Again.

Are you joking or are you serious? You are joking, right?
