My ten year old loved legally blonde. Haven’t let her watch mean girls yet because of concern it may be too mature or inspire bad behavior.

Because my 11 year old still plays with Barbies with her younger sister and I don't want this movie to turn her off from that. I want my kids to stay kids for just a little bit longer.
Why would the movie turn someone off of Barbie?
It’s got things that will go over many 11 year old’s head, but nothing really inappropriate. I took my 9 year old niece and she enjoyed it even if she didn’t get it all. She also didn’t stop being a kid (not sure what that means) after watching.
If it goes over their heads, why take them? What a waste of time and money.
