How so? If at least one of these coaches was at an ID session?
The Portillo stuff is pure fantasy.

They can force FXU and ARL to merge.

This is just stupid. Boys coaching slate is already out and JW and AP are not on it. Arlington boys exist at a different level from Union boys. Sure can always add a player or two -- if the best from Union but replacing a great team with a bad team does not happen. And GP does not run the ECNL boys. They have a director. This is all BS.
There is no boys ECNL slate out for ASA. They are hiring JW and AP to recruit top union kids and hurt McLean.
Typical ASA and GP recruiting
If this happens—where’s the Arlington board? Isn’t there an oversight on this type of thing?

Yes, and those who are getting an offer have been told as long as they've asked - shown any interest. We are one.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How are AP and JW as coaches? OF and OI have a very defined style of play that carries over through the academy. Do they fit into that methodology? It’s a particular style of player. Need high IQ.
Well AP won a national championship a while back, his team last year won Jeff Cup for their bracket and his current team is likely going to nationals this year so I’d say he would fit in just fine to the coaching slate…he knows how to win and get players to give their best
Have not seen AP or JW at any of the boys ID sessions so far.
