Only those with non-bargaining positions
This is not true--Trump can and likely will move a huge number of bargaining positions (anything that could be argued to have any policy influence) to schedule F.

This is not true Trump was trying to move govt agencies out of DC because he hates DC for not voting for him. He was trying to move some to the middle of nowhere.
He’s not sending us back in for SC to make money.
Moving agencies out of DC is what I expect will happen

Also, many offices, including mine and my husband's, require you reside within a 50 mile radius. The reason for this, even for telework, is that more than that they technically are required to pay for your commute, and will not do it. So you could get a job offer, get an exception (for example, finishing out the school year), but would be expected to move. If not, you would basically be committing fraud. I would not do this. Your only option for federal employment above board is to move to the area, or really get a remote job with a remote duty station (that can be pulled at any point if they are willing to pay a relocation fee).
This is really stupid. Who cares if someone wants to live 75 miles away and commute twice per pay period? Why wouldn't agencies just provide an opt-out waiver to the employee that relieves the agency of the commuting cost?
