My brother and I went to see Tim Allen years and years ago and he did a bit where I laughed so hard I almost couldn’t breathe. It was actually kind of scary but we were both laughing so damn hard. I remember it was a weird joke about cheese and we just died. That was the *hardest* I ever laughed.

The most I ever laughed was with my sister and we still laugh about this today 25 years later. My mom, sister and I went to a “wellness spa” for a week in nowheresville Utah. Thought of it like a retreat - turned out it was like a weight loss camp. Ultra restricted food intake, the only thing you could really do was exercise type stuff, none of had to lose weight and we just starved the entire time. We were always first in line for dinner! I set the stage so you can see how bored we were by this time and literally also starved for anything to do.

Anyway end of the week comes and they finally have entertainment so we go. It’s a room with folding chairs in a circle and a lady who brought her portable karaoke machine. We were fine initially - she had a good voice - but then she started singing Celine Dion (It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, it’s burned in my brain) and I just glanced at my sister and we made eye contact and that was all she wrote. Could not stop laughing, but it wasn’t at her it was at ourselves. It was like we both saw ourselves from a distance and it was very much not an “us” thing to do and it still cracks me up to this day.

We got BK late night in college at the student union. When my friend put in his order, the lady yelled back to the kitchen, "I need two strips and a biggie!" We lost it. Then, that same friend sharted coughing and I said, "Don't choke on your chicken!" We were dying of laughter for about 20 minutes. And every time we brought that up for the next 6 months. Oh college!

Omg same!! And also the toddlers interrupting the economist being interviewed on CNN (people thought the woman intervening was the nanny but she was the mom). That whole scene too killed me!!

Running jokes with roommates in college. We would plant little jokes for each other, prank each other - obv drinking played a part in the enjoyment, but we had so many random funny conversations where we actually peed our pants.

Once as a kid when my friend was talking and a jolly rancher fell out of her mouth. I don’t know why, but it was really funny.

Another time as a kid working on a school project with my best friend and we got a case of the giggles. I have no idea why, but we could not stop. I was in pain from laughing so hard.

My niece and daughter kept asking Alexa to play poop songs (yes yes I know). One of the songs that came on was so stupid but made my sister and I laugh until we cried for a long time. It was so sophomoric but we just could not control ourselves.

My cousin and I were at Temple Bar in Dublin just minding our own business drinking beers and watching live music. We were sitting next to a window and there's this huge crash so we frantically turn to look. We see this middle aged Asian lady smooshed her own face up against the window and was just dragging it back and forth over and over. I literally peed in my pants and still laugh out loud every time I think about it. I felt like I was in some bizarre SNL skit.

I loved the movie “Little Miss Sunshine” The end of the movie when the little girl gets on stage to perform the routine she and her grandpa had worked on in secrecy.

The entire movie was parts funny and disturbing, but that part was so absolutely brilliantly disturbing yet completely hysterical that it will hands down forever be inked in my mind as that time I lost it at the otherwise solemn arthouse theatre.
