Compared to much of the country, Maryland, as a whole, is pretty ideal in terms of politics.

Most importantly, it's very educated and has less extremes on both ends of the political spectrum.

The whole debacle with MCPS and their incompetent superintendent turning a blind eye as a principal harassed staff for years and still got promoted made me very glad we don’t live in a state where such nonsense is the new norm. And we all know why he got away with it did long.
