BU and NU…. The two in-the-city schools. Rats are all over the streets/sidewalks once the sun sets in Boston.

The campus is not great, the info session was terrible. But the name recognition and Boston are always going to keep it popular.
Our info session was amazing. That’s too bad bc it definitely Makes a difference. The campus is lovely. The tour was average.

Tufts makes is very easy to take classes across their three divisions, which some students find appealing.

Can you elaborate about their engineering approach?
I second that request. My kid didn't really like the campus when we visited last fall but applied RD for engineering (in part because we know several kids who attend and like it).

We toured Tufts and kid and parent liked it. Kids were outside, presenter was excellent, tour guide was mediocre. Architecture was lovely.

We liked the neighborhood around Tufts better than BC; it seemed like there were more walkable destinations. But for sure the campus is terrible. Everything looks like it was built in the 70's-80's. My DC didn't want to apply but I made him just because he really wants to be in Boston.

Tufts was the one campus I saw a ton of sweatshirts from other schools. I hate that.
