But this isn't Armour and MD United merging in ECNL, another blow to GA and potential new super teams for Maryland Armour United 2024-2025

Merger of Brave and Union doesn't seem to make sense from a business perspective for the clubs involved or for ECNL.
A Mclean/Great Falls partnership seems reasonable and with GFR recently absorbing DMV it would be three fairly solid programs under one umbrella.
Mclean is probably not the right partner for Brave but there are other clubs looking for ECNL that could help strengthen the boys' side which really seems to be the major issue for Brave.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden is 51 with early onset dementia and does not know the difference between 1 and 3. Also McLean is in Mexico. Confirmed.

The Biden joke wasn't funny 2 pages ago either.

That being said, fewer ECNL clubs is not a bad thing. ECNL should just bring FCV back into the fold, release Loudoun and BRAVE from ECNL and voila, you have a more competitive landscape in NOVA.

Fixed it for you.

Nitpick police: Massachusetts may have beef with you with SSS and NEFC, but otherwise you may be right in saying between CT and SC there are no serious teams

SYC boys are serious even elite, I'd be careful with any assertions like this until you see these SYC GA teams develop and play, they will be competitive Day 1 at minimum

Disagree with you on "Day 1," but SYC has demonstrated some ability to develop players on the boys side, whether I personally like the club's culture or not. So I think the GA thing will be a smart move in the long run.
