In virtual meetings with parents last week TSJ said they will be trying to get into ECNL. Did not seem like they meant for 2024-25 season but maybe that’s in play now.
Pretty bold of them to show their hand. That would be awesome. We are looking at them for our younger DD...
From what I hear TSJ has had some internal issues lately.
There's a good chance they're just saying what parents want to hear to keep players engaged.
Also usually ECNL makes new teams prove themselves in ECRL before moving them up to ECNL. This might also be what they mean by "trying to get into ECNL". They might be just talking about moving all their teams to the ECRL with the hope that they'll eventually get ECNL.
FCV has an issue because ECNL still hates them. This could go away at some point. Anyone's guess as to when. But if it happened no way they would make them do RL. Rumor is ECNL taking 4 top GA teams. they would all go straight to ECNL. RL is for second teams.
Which 4?
There is a lot of variations of the 4
No one on here know, it's all a guess. My money is on at least Tophat and Nationals because their boys already play in ECNL
Yes, this makes the most sense. Maybe mls next will offer nationals and Tophat entry to stay?

How many times does this need to be stated. College scouts don't just show up at games looking for players. They go to a showcase with a list of players who have already been in contact with them and watch them. They do not care about the team's record or the outcome of the game.

How about all the ECNL coaches here posting on this forum focus more on their clubs instead of focusing on SYC having GA. Clearly ppl here are afraid or mad SYC now has GA.
Why would anyone be mad that SYC has GA?
If Syc 2012s snag a few more players from ECNL teams, they will be the most dominant team.
Believe it or not, some parents/kids would rather win a national championship in GA than struggle every season on a mid tier ECNL team
This is 100% correct.
When it comes to recruiting Playing in GA finals gets more eyeballs than not going to finals in ECNL.
That's funny. Compare the college scout attendance lists of the ECNL showcases against the GA Finals. Both are posted.

Nobody is willingly leaving ECNL for GA.
FCV had an established record of college commitments long before GA. What record of college recruitment does SYC have? It's more than just being in the league that attracts players and families, it is a track record of college recruiting success. SYC, on the girls side has none compared to the remaining ECNL clubs.
Yes they will. Little Susie riding that bench on a 2012 pre ECNL team will most definitely check them out.
