Very weird. Only grandma and this anonymous board knows all of my kids' acceptances this year . I haven't even told my siblings.

I have read so many social media posts of my honor roll kid blah blah and even report cards shown.

Anonymously: my kid has had straight As all 4 years at a tough private and 35 one sitting on the ACT, 5s on all AP exams, but he might as well be a dope as far as everyone else is concerned because he's an athlete and we have never mentioned his grades/scores/acceptances to anyone.

Everything about social media is cringy. I'm not sure this is any worse than 99% of the rest of it.

The parent is missing something in their own lives - like they didn’t have a lot of college options themselves or something.
