We’re not at Banneker or Loiderman, but I have a kid at another MCPS MS. There are regularly fights and sometimes they spill over into the neighborhood areas/stores.

The political climate is currently anti-police, so our police department is under funded. Our political leaders chose to remove SROs from schools and embrace restorative justice.

Kids learn early that they can get away with horrible behavior and that nobody cares. Nobody will administer consequences.
