We are usually limited or no screen time. She’s seen a few movies but beyond that not much. We need to find some tv shows that will have her reasonable engaged. If she likes animals and you have Disney+ she will love the Magic of Disneys Animal Kingdom. My 7 yo loves it and there are tons of episodes all about the behind the scenes care of the animals by the vets and staff. I really enjoy it too.

I only let my 7 year old watch the PBS Kids app unsupervised. No ads, mostly educational. She really gets sucked into Odd Squad and Wild Kratts (great show about animals).

I have a science, animal, and baking loving 8 year old. Great suggestions here already (Wild Kratts is REALLY good!), and a few others that I didn't see suggested yet are Junior Bake Off, the Who Was Show, and Hilda.

Movies on Disney +

If she’s going to be bed bound for days it’s better to get movies instead of just shows. The. 20 to 30 minute repetitive structure of shows can get really annoying.
