These are the city limits of Rockville. Wootton HS itself is inside the limits, but quite a few of the neighborhoods zoned to Wootton are not. Hope that clears things up.

They never allowed the city to annex their land. One is Hectic Hill, and you can Google it.

Our kid is pretty resilient and grounded and not upset that they might have the lowest HHI of a particular friend group (at 450K, ha!) but YMMV. This kind of environment can go screwy in many ways.

This is ridiculous. 1/3 of the school is Beverly Farms and for parents that have been around since elem school almost no house was a million dollars. Sure there are super rich kids, but there are plenty of grounded kids with parents making average amounts of money. Stop trying to make it richer than it is.

In 2021, the median household income of the 16.5k households in Potomac, MD grew to $198,870

Potomac median income is 50% higher than MoCo median, and 80% higher than Rockville median income. (But Wootton is probably the higher end of Rockville income.)

Potomac house is 50-100% more expensive than Rockville/north Potomac

Both communities like to punch down. Churchill looks down on Wootton, especially in the Cabil John MS zone, since that school feeds to both high schools. Wootton will look down on Richard Montgomery and Quince Orchard.

Churchill looks down on Wootton looks down on Quince Orchard looks down on Northwest looks down on Seneca Valley.
