Apparently, when he practiced law his coworkers did not want to live anywhere near him. And it sent him into a tailspin.

The vote was paused due to a flurry of media attention, but it's clear they have the votes. And of course, the murderer, also completely otherwise unqualified for the appointment to the Sentencing Commission, was framed by Allen, the Whites, etc. as being a "victim of character assassination" the only voices against it and for victims were Pinto and Bonds. What I don’t understand is that all the progressive cities on the west coast that were about 5 years ahead of DC on these weak on crime polices have pumped the brakes HARD. But Frumin and the other idiots are content to just keep speeding toward the cliff. I mean, we know exactly how this movie ends.
