I can't afford to take 2 weeks off from work for recovery.

I got one of those eye mask ice packs and used it for the first few days a lot. I slept on a wedge pillow and tried to not look down at my phone. My swelling was gone by day 3. I had the ywllowish bruises for 7-10 days but by the end I could put on a little makeup, wear glasses and was comfortable being out in public. It was easy recovery!

I took a week off but probably could have worked from home after 3-4 days if I had to. You’ll have stitches for a week so you will need to hide your eyes for a week.
