You realize they work on tips, don't you? You don't want them to be able to pay their bills?

Pp again. I’ll add that we ordered right as flurries started. Not when streets were covered.

BIG tip.

We did it and it took almost 2 hours to arrive. It was cold and the wrong order, but not a night to complain.

The delivery guy was cheerful and seemed completely unbothered by the snowy situation. His car was overfilling with pizzas, and they’d even called in extra drivers. My guess is that his tips that night were extraordinary.

Nah, it's not a good look. Onky if you are desperate and willing to tip big. Otherwise eat the stuff in your freezee and plan to shop ahead of storms next time.

It sounds like Scott Peterson or someone put forth a theory, and claims that there is evidence, and LAIP tentatively believes him and asked for the evidence.

They have not published any evidence or specific claims yet. I'd ignore until they out forth some info or complaints if they can't get the production files.

This is so weird. The driver who freely and willingly chose 1. That particular job and 2. To show up for work specifically today deserves extra huge money for doing her job?

I’m an OR nurse who went in at 4 as I usually do, to the job I freely chose over other WFH-possible professions. Interestingly, I did not receive an extra %100 salary today for braving snow. Neither did the lab tech, the transporter, the food service worker (most analogous to the pizza guy?) or the surgeon. Or the housekeeper. We all just drove out into the snow and did our jobs that we chose. We took care of “you” when you wanted a knee replacement. Not one patient today offered to quintuple my wage out of their gratitude

Weird.

But I love the people who act as though they’re doing the driver a favor!

Says the delivery guy... That's f'king crazy. I think 20% is MORE than enough.

You are not a "delivery guy" lol. No way.

PP was saying that only delivery guys recommend 100% tip

"%" is stupid when talking about snow tip. 2 pizzas aren't harder to drive than 1 pizza.

How much tip is worth getting a totalled car replaced?

Be a responsible consumer, not an accomplice to an exploitative restaurant owner.

We are in Silver Spring and roads are NOT fine. That's wonderful they focus on the rich areas first.

+1
I haven’t seen a single snow plow today in my Silver Spring neighborhood and I walked the dog morning and afternoon all around.
