NP here,
How is 40 minutes enough to walk 0.5 miles at 4 year old pace dragging sleds, sled, and walk back at 4 year old pace?

At what age would you be comfortable letting your kids go sledding (super small hill about 0.5 miles away from the house) by themselves? Can I let my almost 9 year old take my 7 and 4 year old? She has a Gizmo watch that she can call me from if needed.
I have worked 2 days this week and really need to get some work done today. Kids obviously want to go sledding.
