No, they're stingy with merit. They don't need to give large amounts to get OOS kids to come. Every year people complain about CU's merit aid and they got "xyz" higher amount from a better ranked school. CU doesn't care.

Is this in the past year or two? If so it's extraordinary. Pre-covid they were much more generous.
Yes. She’s a freshman there now. She was also able to bring in 17 credits from her APs.
