OP here. For people asking about my job. . . .
I don’t want to share details other than I work high up for a small company and have a very unique story of how I got to where I am based on personal history of working with certain people who later hired me. It’s more of a “one thing led to another that led to another” that couldn’t be predicted or replicated and I was very lucky and also worked very hard for about 20 years before I made this much money.

i can't speak for OP, but you have to be willing to job hop, take risks and work after your kids go to bed every night pretty much for 1-2h as well as weekend work to go the extra mile, learn extra important stuff and be an SME in your field.

i have comp similar to op and this is not the case.
first of all tax takes massive amount. Op is pulling in $330 max. and op's dh probably doesnt make what op does. plus you can only put a certain amount into a 529 a year no?
