Email from PVS says 13 and over session will proceed as planned.

NCAP West was at the Mako Polar Plunge meet two weekends ago. Not sure if that's their typical Jan schedule or just a one-off. No idea why!

We actually do a meet in Warrenton the first week of January that is also called Polar Plunge. It is hosted by a VA Swimming club, VSTP. We also go to IMX next weekend. I’m not sure exactly why we do that one, but part of West trains at the pool in Warrenton so maybe that’s why.

The meet looks like a bust. Pump still isn’t fixed and will need to run for a few hours before swimmers can get in.

Why was it cancelled?

Hopefully a pool issue and not related to the health or safety of a swimmer or spectator.

As a PP said, the pump broke.

Thanks! Saw the multiple posts about the cancellation but missed that explanation. Bad for the meet, but glad to know it is mechanical and not medical.
