this was why I didn't actually name schools, either. Although I guess I could say the 2 VA schools we are currently waiting on are Radford and ODU. Again, my child is on the line of 4 year vs community college and we're just glad she has a couple 4 year options so far.

In at WVU and Miami of Ohio, with coveted direct admits and significant merit at both (enough to make either less than VA in-state!). Still waiting on JMU and Longwood.

DC has worked so hard and we are so proud.

This thread is for them all. In that spirit Congratulations!

Fordham is a top 100, so it's nothing to sneeze at. Arizona isn't far behind.

If your kid was a dancer, those are two of the top programs in the country and highly sought after, so...

+1000

I find the obsession with rankings so off-putting. Someone said once anything T150 is going to give anyone a good solid education. Find a school you love and you’re good to go!!

Wow. Pitt CA with merit is very rare! Kudos!!!!

Is your kid female?

Yes - 4.0, 1520 SAT, but I haven’t counted AP’s

Got in everywhere so far - Pitt, Salisbury, UMBC, Towson, and GMU. Just waiting on UMD.

Finding schools was hard - DS wanted a "bigger school" not far from home (MD) and we were limited to 30k/year all in (knowing we really weren't getting any significant financial aid.) Hoping he gets into UMD.

that is the key for everyone, I think. But I agree - looking for fits for your specific child is so important. I literally spent a year and half in research mode with info changing along the way. I'm just really glad that I was able to help my child find a few schools that might work for her and her needs. Not to mention - schools we should be able to afford
