Do you know of any successful or long-term relationships that were initiated by the woman or in which the woman asked the man out or in which the woman made the first move?

The origin is men never really used to ask. They just took what they wanted.

Then nut up. This is the game, such as it is, as you have acknowledged so play or sit on the sidelines but this whining is unattractive.
