Not from an actual committee
Wrong. Jan 6th was an actual committee their failure was not sending criminal referrals. Which was a massive fail.

The above article is a good summary of what happened in Congress today. Hunter Biden appeared at the oversight committee hearing as they discussed holding him in contempt. He again offered to testify in an open hearing. Instead, they attacked him. When MTG began speaking, he marched out, with all the press following behind him. Poor MTG didn't get her performative video bite.

The January 6 Committee wasn't "actual"?

He listed out like 5 or 6 ignored subpeonas.
Here’s the clip - Biggs, Jordan, Perry, McCarthy and Meadows.

You just can't make this stuff up!
He had his chance to speak before, but he decided to stage a circus outside.
Now he can face the consequences or continue to hide in the White House with daddy.
He is willing to testify in open committee. The GOP doesn't want that because they won't be able to lie about his testimony to the right wing echo chamber.
Why won't the GOP let him testify in open committee? There is no reason for it, and when asked by the left, no GOP member has been able to answer the question.
The GOP wants to hold a closed deposition first - just like the Democrats have done with J6 - in order to avoid the circus like we saw today. An open hearing does not allow for the follow up questions that a closed deposition allows. A closed hearing allows questioners to probe much more deeply than an open hearing allows. Closed deposition first, then open hearing.
And, as for your bolded accusation.....the transcripts are always made public so that pretty much ruins your argument.
