He got the idea from a tv show! I am not kidding. A couple years there was a tv show called Containment about a pandemic situation and in the tv show the 6 ft rule was a big thing. It was so funny when i first heard him touting it 😂

Apparently APE chairs all the ACTL committees now. I loved watching them praise Dr. Durán and APS up and down at the ACTL work session! I guess now that MT is on the board, they are big supporters.

Also loved watching the APE-chair's head explode when staff explained to them that the All In tutoring isn't helpful. You can see it on video.


When was that? I need to watch that.

The committees are worthless. School board barely ever listens to them whether they're stocked with nutters or not.

Not unique to APS, but elected school boards have not been helpful in Virginia. Too much focus by SB members on getting re-elected or preparing to run for a different elected position, and not enough focus by SB members on academics and giving all children an appropriate education. Sigh.
